It's pretty easy to do.
What you really should do though is order a set of the Outlaw Engineering Thermoblok Phenolic Spacers. You can get it done at 58MM and it should be there in time.

The spacers aren't expensive at all. It's like 80 bucks for the whole set, and it's one hell of a modification too.
Go to any local parts store and pick up gasket material, you can make your own when it arrives. Just don't use cork.
