1st. Sorry to you other guys. I didn't mean to "steal" this from you.
2nd. A strut tower bar/brace connects either the front or rear strut/shock towers together. This re-enforces the chassis so that it does not "flex" as much. Reducing flex keeps all 4 tires on the ground during cornering where they can be most effective.
Strut bars are made for the front strut tower, rear strut towers and there is also a center bar that generally connects to the frame or the seat belt bolts on the floor behind your seats. The more important of the three for our cars is the front strut bar.
