I have 4-2-1 Stainless Steel headers from SS Autochrome. I bolted them up and started the car once, immediately turned it off. I went to bolt up the flexpipe and it wouldn't reach to the exhaust. It will only reach if a custom exhaust is either bolted up or probably if one is already on the car. The headers fit perfectly, the flex pipe just won't reach to the factory exhaust (about 3-5" too short). Simple fix if you want to get it welded onto the exhaust at any exhaust shop or weld it on your own. Flex pipe has O2 sensor bung

They've just been sitting at my house forever and I may as well get rid of them. My car isn't lift friendly, so I haven't been able to find a place willing to put me on their lift and weld under my car. mad.gif body kits suck

majk any place with an alignment drive on type lift will be fine to get your car on as long as u get a good running head start.... also SSA sells their "race cat" straight pipe that fills the gap between the headers and the rest of the exhasut.... if i were u id keep it... it be nice to see ur car have a lil more pep

 

I'm planning on getting the headers from FlyRyde.

The alignment drive-on lifts won't work... my sideskirts get stuck 02.gif I've tried contacting SSA dozens of time to try and get some response from them and I've failed every time.

 

Why are you asking so much man? They used to go for $180 shipped on ebay and they fit... I got mine with a catback for $350 shipped half a year ago.

Thanks OP... I couldn't remember what I paid for it so long ago, and wasn't sure what the going rate was, just that quality headers now go for near $400 on KSpec and $300ish on FlyRyde.

ill buy them after i get a new ecm for my car if no one else posts on them. will they fit on a 99' 2.0 though? sort of new to this car still. i should have my new ecm in about two weeks. let me know, mike b.

And yes, it will fit a 99 Tiburon. As long as it's a 2.0 and not a 1.8, everything should fit between your car and all 2nd gens ('00-'01)
