Okay, some of you have had it, some haven't, but a local Korean friend of mine hooked me up with a site where we can order Soju and have it delivered.
http://www.winespecialist.com/ecart/search....x=0&GO.y=0
That page has sake and soju on it, but if you search in the search block for "Soju" you'll get just that.
1.75L for $17.99 plus shipping. NOT bad, robbery compared to Korea, but still not bad.

is soju really hard to find in other states? i live in califionia and you can just find soju in a bar or liquor stores...
thats a pretty good price though, its like $15.00 for a 1.75L of saan soju in korean supermarkets. and in my opinion i think saan's the best korean soju, its a lot smoother than sake or JD.

I usually get Jinro Soju, but I can't remember if they make it in the huge "combat bottles" as we call them.
Any of the 1.75 Liter ones should be good, as they are unflavored. some of the flavored ones are Plum flavored, and very good.
If you haven't had Soju before folks, it's very similar to a premium vodka, with almost no smell or taste at all, just a slight rubbing alcohol sensation up the back of your nose if you drink it straight.
Yeah, Soju is damned hard to find, but at least it's available in the US Now that there is no Formaldehyde in it anymore.
I'm going to see if I can find other sites that send it.
Jinro DOES have US Distributors, or so I just looked up.

I'll have to call mine.
Check out the recipies.
