I just called about 5 salvage yards within a short distance of here, and they had some things available:

1997 1.8L ECU - $90 +plus shipping.
1.8L intake cam the guy wanted $175 plus shipping... wtf.gif probably no hits on this one...
1998 1.8L ECU - expensive guy again, he wanted $165 plus shipping
1.8L ECU - $100 + shipping (possibly more than 1 available)

Also, there were a few yards that had some tiburons:
A few left over parts from a 2000 Tiburon (not much left)
1997 Tiburon - good interior, exterior looked horrible, supposedly painted by hand with a brush?? LOL
1998 Tiburon - few body parts, interior is still good.
2001 Tiburon - front damage, everything else is still in good shape.

If you guys need anything, let me know, and I'll try to get a price on it. Some of these are a bit farther than the others, so I might not go unless there's a number of things needed.

Sorry for the high prices on some of these, that's what the guy charges...

Oh, forgot to mention, I would prefer not to ship too large of pieces, (Hoods, trunks, wings, doors, etc. really even most body pieces) but I might be willing to do interior panels, maybe a fender, etc. Where would you get packing materials for somthing that big??
Color might be anything as these could come from 2 or 3 different cars.

Homey, I'll see what I can get from the interior pieces, not sure on the price yet though. Shipped to where?

45238...
as far as packing material, i guess it depends on the parts...for plastic interior parts i would assume those peanut things would be fine or just news paper....for metal or more fragile parts--bubble wrap? lol

^^^^^
Can you get a 1.8L one? wink1.gif
The one guy was charging a lot on the parts, but I think he gets them from all over. Like the camshaft he said was coming from TX

Hobgoblin, I think the engine is good in a few of these. Want me to ship it? Looking at about the price of a new car to do so... laugh.gif Sorry to hear mang.

Can we do a straigt up ECU swap with a 1.8L one, or do you have to worry about reprogramming and putting in the right VIN and all that?

for the rd2, as in frontal damage, any chance that the drivers fender is still intact and ok? or that busted up with it
