What's the difference between the EL gauges and the reverse EL ones? Are the EL ones simple enough to swap out, or is there a bit that has to be done? What else would I need to swap out the faces?
Also, do you have any pics of the EL gauges? (besides the first one at the beginning)

There are no reverse left. I have strictly EL gauges. EL = back lights up, Reverse EL = numbers light up. EL looks very unique compared to a standard set of gauges at night.
The EL gauges have a separate control panel with a dimmer and a switch, the switch changes them from blue to green. They dim with the dashboard, but you can adjust them with the control panel dimmer as well.
EL is simple. You can do it without removing the instrument cluster. You pull the dash, then pull the cover from the stock gauges. Hook up inverter to power and grond from the dimmer switch. Slip the EL in place, and put it all back together.
I'll post pictures so you can see what i'm talking about.

Yeah, still a little confused, but I think pictures would really help. Do you simply overlay the EL glow over the present face (or replace) and it lights up once powered?
Sorry, ot, but does BROS make any MPH ones (vs KPH)?

Yes, that' how it works. You just slip the faces under the needles and power them. It's possible to replace them, and alot of people perfer to do that. If it were me, i'd get the needle kit and the gauge faces for a really awesome combo. After that, you can easily recalibrate your needles wihout any tools.
You'll need to speak to K-Spec about bros gauges. I think REDZMAN had some MPH ones for sale a while ago though.

^^^ Ah, I understand... By "slip the faces under the needles" you mean remove the needles, place on the face, and put the needles back on? To replace the whole face, would i have to remove the cluster?
I'll call dibs depending on what the gauges look like, if you have pics, or at least links to pics, that would be great. Shipping to 35749? $5?
The LED needles are a bit complicated for my limited knowledge, so i'll probably pass for now.
Thanks mang!

I'll pay you for the EL gauges tomorrow.
BTW, where do you get power from for the faces?
How much would you charge for the heater cluster fully LED'd if I sent you mine after swapping?

gauges and needles are on hold as of 2300 last night.. I would have been glad to sell, but someone requested that I hold onto them and I have to.

Wow I had those gauges like 2 years ago. Got them on ebay for 45 shipped. Gorgeous but gauge lights died quickly.
Also they are "reverse" b/c during daylight with lights off, the cluster is all white with dark #s and so forth, while at night, the clusters dark and the numbers and designs glow. As I stated very nice gauges, but also sold for very cheap on ebay. THEY ARE NO LONGER MADE FOR RD1's! I looked EVERYWHERE!
