<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (faithofadragon @ May 16 2006, 01:35 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>why dont they? i have rear gr2 struts from a tib on my car...</div>
well all i can say to that is they are not safe !! if you had it installed by a pro, then he scammed you or didnt know what he was doing.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (yamaha @ May 16 2006, 02:36 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>They are interchangable, what exactly does not fit?</div>
the "cup" part that the spring sits into is wider than the stock spring, and even the eibach spring that i went to put in it !! and it seems to be longer as well !
when i had the eibach spring compressed i went to insert the strut into the spring and throught the mount and as i decompressed the spring, it was fully decompressed and still not compressed in the strut with the nut securing the top together liek it should
so after matching the two struts, stock and the gr2 that I have, the "cup" part is wider than the stock 2000 tiburon spring, and the GR2 is longer !!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (KayJai @ May 16 2006, 02:45 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Well if they don't fit a 2000 tib, it won't fit any of our RDs</div>
so it seems !!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (lilo shark @ May 17 2006, 06:13 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>that's odd maybe it's from a older one? or it just doesn't fit.</div>
i cant say only things for sure here is i have part numbers 333500 and 333501 that are claimned to be for 2000 to 2004 elantras
and i need part numbers 333207 and 333208 for the 97 to 01 tiburons !!!
and who knows Bryce, I want to ask him for my money back since he gave me bad info !!!!!!

well mine is a 2k
they changed body styles in late 2k to the newer one so for some reason they mark down a 2k as the same bodystyle as the xd which was marketed as the 2001 elantra
