<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (LNHeart @ May 2 2007, 10:02 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Hmmm wait, the bezel is not were the numbers and all that stuff is?
I want the part were the light comes from for the gauges, arent the gauges and that part together?
Do you happen to have it? If you do how much would that be for?
This is a pic of it.
</div>
The person who made that should be shot. It's not safe, it will not last, the leds will not distribute light evenly and there is no consistancy to the form because as soon as you put back in the speedometer it will move and possibly short out.
Do something like this..

As for the needles,

no, stensil(from walmart) to distribute the light as well as add firmness to the project and the LEDs have been shaved down and clear liquid cemented (also available at walmart) in place.
you don't know that the cluster was put back together like that, do you? it is unsafe as is, but they might have coated things with some liquid electric tape.
i tried the led in the clear plastic pieces, and didn't like it. they are just too close to the faces that even with diffusion it doesn't get spread out completely. if i ever crack open my own cluster i have an idea that i think will make the install even cleaner & require less leds.

^^ that's a picture from Yijoo, they never did anything else. just slapped it on in there. I also have no clue what you're talking about being right on the plastic... mine are down at the bottom in that install. It might look close to the plastic, but the back of the leds are touching the bottom.
