Actally, most refurbished items have much less of a chance of going bad.

They've been out, used, had a problem, get fixed and re checked all over, and sold for cheaper, with usually the same or better warranty.

I own a lot of refurb stuff, never have had a failure. Some expensive stuff too like my LCD TV>

When you buy reman parts for your car you are getting refurbished parts. Just a different word for it.

that's a good price, not a GREAT price, I bought a x1950 like that for $69.99 localy (so it was 5$ more if you add the shipping from woot).
