ya i have one here. used for like a week tops. very new, no discoloration. i think im going to get rid of it if someone doesnt want to pick this up. 30 shipped and ill get it out quick.

 

Question: Can I swap out the stock flex pipe section for this one? Or are they different dimensions?]

My stock flex pipe is worn out and the mechanic wants $70 to replace it, if I can swap them out, I want it.

totally different. with some cutting and welding you could make it work, but he would probably charge you the same to even do that.

 

FLEX pipe, or TEST pipe ("race cat") ?

I'm thinking he means test pipe, because if he has just the flex pipe .. where's the headers? lol. they need to go together, since having headers are the only way it [flex pipe] would bolt up correctly.

If it was a test pipe on the other hand, it could be used to replace the 2nd cat (on tibs that have two) for less restriction in the exhaust flow.

keep in mind lilo has been trying to sell a manifold section with no lower portion included all this season

 

and the reason it hasn't sold is because one is useless without the other. LOL.

but i think lilo was asking like 90 bux for the upper section, so at that price, you could buy a new set up off ebay after buying both sections.

 

I bought the header from Lilo for $90.00 shipped with the main header and flex pipe, just as you would get it from OBX. Possibly he found a flex pipe section just before I bought it or maybe he decided he wasn't going to use the flex pipe section like he thought he was or something?
