Fs: My Wilwood 12" Diy Brake Kit
Need money, and want to sell the kit I started building back in the day highlighted in this thread:
http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtop...&hl=wilwood
for the whole kit and everything you need to bolt up and go i am asking 650 shipped. just gauging interest now, i'm not selling this for less as i feel it's completely worth it and cost me more than this after you add up everything.

stock specs
Disc O.D. 10.118 in.
Disc thickness 0.866 in.
Pad thickness 0.354 in.
Cylinder I.D. 2.126 in.
diy wilwood specs
Disc O.D. 11.75 in.
Disc thickness .81 in.
Pad thickness .63 in.
Cylinder I.D. 1.38x2 in.
the rotor is 11.75" x .81", thickness right around stock and the rotor is about 1.5" larger in diameter. the pad is more than twice the thickness of stock, and takes about a minute to change with only the wheel off. one bolt to take off and put back in.
i am going to measure out and make the caliper brackets out of 3/8 plate. anybody who has seen the machining on the baja car knows that it will be done correctly, and line up perfectly.
there are also two sets of pads included with this kit.
all of these parts are completely new, and are lighter than stock, even the gigantic calipers. they might even fit with the stock wheel too, but i'm not sure. right now i don't have DOT approved brake lines, but am planning on getting them. that will add 50 bucks to the price, it's exactly what 2 of them cost(or i can give you the part numbers from summit). they are super high quality and coated.

anyone interested at all? maybe guys with other vehicles that don't need the caliper bracket, for a cheaper price maybe?
let me know, as much as i don't want to sell this for lower than the price above, it may come down to me having to.

want the rotors too? they're all safety wired up and ready to go. pm me a price, they were 125 each when i bought them, pretty much the only expensive part of this kit. i'll go lower than that obviously.

I would buy it off you if I hadn't already done the XG 350 kit my man.
I would have loved to see these finished and able to be sold as a kit with everything in them. BHurlin would most likely be interested, as he's got many suppliers that could get him the parts, and the connections for getting the finished brackets duplicated at a decent price.

hmm, maybe he would be interested in buying this off me? i would also love to see it finished. back then, it took me a long friggin time researching everything out, i would like to see that time go to something. they're good parts, and lightweight for their size(lighter than stock)
other than the necessary hardware for the caliper bracket, and the caliper bracket itself, there isn't any other hardware needed. i'll send him an email, thanks for bringing it up.
