Up for sale is my Motoria catback exhaust system. It is 100% stainless steel and includes all bolts and gaskets for installation. I had it installed by an exhaust shop approximately three months ago. It was modified to fit my 2000 Tiburon with a two-bolt flange so it should bolt right up to any 97-01 Tib with two-bolt flange. It was installed using the supplied test pipe to make up the extra length needed for the two-bolt system and the pipe was then cut before the resonator, flared and then rewelded to achieve the proper length. That seemed to be the best way to do it so that everything lined up properly and it does fit perfectly with no rubbing anywhere.
The reason I am thinking about selling it is it's too loud for my tastes (and my wifes). I'm 38 and did not expect it to be quite so loud. In my younger days it would not have bothered me at all but now it's a little much.
I am asking for $220.00US plus shipping. I think this is reasonable given that it is almost new (new sells for $260.00 plus shipping on Importshark) and it should be a direct bolt on to any Tib with a two-bolt flange saving you money in having a new one modified.
If anyone is interested or has any questions let me know.
P.S. I'm not going to bother posting up any pics as there are others with pics and reviews already on the site.

you know, you can put a cat in, or a silencer.
i might be interested due to my time left in the U.S. so i need an exhaust in my hands within the week which probably might not happen.
did you throw a CEL at all?

I tried the silencer but it didn't really do much, at least for the sound level inside the car. The factory cat is still in the system so I won't be adding another. I might consider cutting out the resonator and putting a different type in or cutting off the muffler and having a different one installed. I'm sure changing the muffler would have the biggest impact in the sound level. I just figured before I go and have the system hacked to pieces I would see whether anyone was interested.
I got no CEL from the exhaust installation but given that the stock cat was neither removed nor relocated that is not surprising.

If you want to know you will have to give me a zip code. I would be charging the actual shipping cost not some made up amount. If you buy it new you will be paying $260 PLUS shipping PLUS labour at a shop to modify it to fit a Tiburon with a two bolt flange. If your Tib has a three bolt flange I think you would be better off buying a new one.

I guess I should have asked for a state as well as the zip code because some of the carriers that I wanted to get an online quote from require just the state not the zip code. Anyway I got quotes from Fedex. Keep in mind they are estimates but should be very close - to 12508 - $53CAN ($43US) and to 10562 - $50CAN ($40.50US). If you give me your state as well I can get some other quotes. In the past I have found that Fedex is not the most economical.
