stock piping is not 2.25'' .... generally speaking.... adding a muffler will just give our cars a different exhaust tone, while releasing a miniscule amount of power(if any)..... the more piping you replace from the muffler to the cats, the more power released... and then from the cats to the engine block... even more power released....

stock piping is always restrictive.....adding aftermarket exhaust to almost any car out there is going to free up hp.....

correct me if im wrong guys... but stock exhaust piping is 2''... correct?

stock piping when i measured it was 2 1/8 inches BUT that was the outside diameter i never got to measure the inside

the stock exhaust has friggin thick piping i wouldnt be surprised if the inside was 2 inch piping plus its crush bent so some parts go down to like 1.5 inches in places
