It's an easy install, the hardest part is getting the bolt out of the crankshaft but I used an impact gun and it was peice of cake and if you know what your doing it should take you less than a 1/2 hour to do. As far as performance gains it takes alot of weight off the cranckshaft and slows down the accessories which allows your motor to rev quicker and get back some wasted hp.
