So I ordered a license plate from decalgirl.com and its pretty awesome. Problem is I got it with a 97 instead of 99 cause I was gonna make the parts car into the show car but Im keeping the black one instead. Anyway it says 97 where the number goes, and then the big letters say RD-1. It is white plastic with gunmetal letters. I will have pictures tomorrow. I paid $25 shipped and would like $25 shipped. I have barely touched it, only have had it for like a week or so.
EDIT its actually the white reflective metal plate, not white plastic. Which means its better than plastic. Its like a real license plate.
