alright, hopefully i can get them this paycheck *crosses fingers* theres no news anywhere if the tein EDFC works with the ksports yet is there? cause i at least cant find any, would be cool if it worked

dam cant edit =/ anyways, my other question which i forgot to ask, how much can i lower it safely without getting any rub on stock wheels, cause i know that the suspension moves up and down lol so dont want to lower it like 1.5" or so and then the first bump i go over i notice my tire in my wheel well or who knows what else lol

thanks for the help smile.gif

^^^
you should be fine with a 1.5" drop w/no rubbing. but you might want a bit more neg camber on the rear to help a little. and the suspension is pretty stiff at the setting i have my dampening adjustment at. even with all the audio weight in the trunk (and its alot), i dont bottom out the rear anymore.

and im still working on the edfc thing. the teins adjustment part is different from the k-sports. im still waiting for my friend to let me give it a shot on installing it on my car temporary.

and some info on the edfc.
i was watching DIY tv (2am, dont laugh), they had a tein coilover install on a focus. well they also did the edfc install as well. i now know what the edfc looks like and how to install this (on the tein coilovers). THIS can be made to work on the k-sports (with a little modding). i dont have the funds atm to buy the edfc (buying alpine s/c for my xd laugh.gif), but in a few months when i have some spare cash, i WILL buy the edfc and mount it on the my k-sports. it looks pretty simple as both the teins and k-sports are a 36 way dampening adjustment. both coilovers utilize basically the same manual dampening adjustment (turning the dampening from "soft" to "hard" is just about 4 full turns).

so, it will be a little while untill i can make it work. unless someone can get me a hella deal on the edfc (new or used), then i can start right away. when i do finally figure out how to mod the tein edfc to operate the k-sports, i will either post up a DIY on it, or just have the people interested in having the edfc on their k-sports to send me the edfc and ill mod to fit on my car, then send back out to you.

yeah, i knew it would work, its just:

1. it would have to be modded.
2. it may still fit odly.
3. the ksport version would proabbyl end up being cheaper, and without any modding required.

k-sport doen not offer nor do they have any plans to make them. ive asked plenty of times trying to spark interest.

also, the edfc will mount on top of the k-sports perfectly. i have seen the top mounts on both the tein and k-sport coilovers, it will fit. the only thing you have to mod to get it to work, is modding the part of the edfc that "turns" the dampening adjustment. i can do it, it will just take an edfc for me to make it happen. i happen to think its rather simple to do, and im 99% positive i can make it work.
