One of my friends is selling his system. He has 3 10" JL speakers that are w3 dual voice coil and are rated at 175 rms each, box is JL audio power wedge made for the speakers and a Rockford 500 amp, rated at 581 rms, 2 channel. He lives in NJ and would prefer not to ship. I am going up there on the 23rd so it would be possible, if you're local, for me to pick them up and bring them back with me. It is a very powerful system!

He is asking 300-400 ish.

Lil_tiby, can you get some measurements of it?? I personally dont need it (building my own) but it may help to verify that it would fit in between the rear strut towers.

When i measured for my system I came up w/ 36-3/4".....that was w/o putting any stress on the carpeted panels.....37" MAY be possible, but for anyone interested in this, take your own measurements.

Do you think he would sell just the amp? I might be interested in that... it matches my other one, but i got plenty of speakers as it is so i dont need them.

yeah, but JL's arent light, and neither are their boxes, much less a fully loaded one. It would have to be a 2 person job.

That thing is definatley a theif magnet..Hope whoever buys it has a garage.

 

I don't have the measurements yet but I will bug him for them. He's not willing to part out just the amp, at least not right now. He still has the system in his Trix. But if he changes his mind I'll let you know.
