This ECU housing is great, unopened, I just don't trust the components inside. It's yours for $15. This would be a great way to do the megasquirt ECU swap without having a spare ECU.

Email Bhurlin, he really needs some more of these since things fell through with Ray.

You don't trust the OEM ECU, but you trust ZEX?

^^ Yes, I don't trust it. It's california emissions specs, it feels like there's no additional power towards the end of the gas pedal and it seems to degrade performance as I drive after a reset.

Zex adds nitrous and fuel in metered, quantifiable outputs from an assembly line and noone reports problems with them. There's no quantifying this ECU because noone knows for sure how our ECUs work.

Upon swapping this ECU i noticed a considerable change in my car's performance towards the better side. The ECU sucks, but the housing is good.

Just so you know REDZ even though the ZEX kit is a "smart" nitrous oxide kit, I'm planning on running a dyno this weekend.

If I talk to him again this week I will, but emailing him directly would be quickest probably.

bhurlin @ kfxperformance.com I think.
