^^

Actually if you want to do cheap then you could buy the stuff for $50 and probably do both items with fairly little experience. I'm assuming both of these are overlays not true c/f replacements.

Before anyone here even CONSIDERS buying these, ask Compact Divisions about getting a set done. Bet ya he gives you a better price.

BTW, someone tell me how to get the OEM handles off, I really need to do something with mine.

Flaking paint on the door handles is a very common problem with RDtibs. From what I know about it different paint colors will flake more or less, with silver being one of the biggest culprits. My blue tib has it happening a little bit as well.

No one ever reads my posts 02.gif

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Well, considering how light the gas door is to begin with, you could probably just have the stock one overlayed with carbon fiber by Compact Divisions for a bit less. I'm not sure how much he would charge, but it could be less than $75. Same with the door handles, I don't remember them being too heavy.</div>

Yeah, I've obviously seen that, as I posted in that thread before you posted above.

DTN did post some instructions, but they are equivalent to you going from New York to LA via Hawaii.

Thanks though.
