Hey guys. If the wing says it's made for a 97-99 it's totally different than the 00-01.

The rear of the 97-99 slopes down with no edge.

The rear of the 00-01 has a "pinch" at the top edge, so it does not slope like the older models do. If you get this wing expecting it to fit the 00-01, it won't.

 

well, either way guys I know with determination it will fit. yeah it will go on a rd2 spiff,we'll see what happens.

as far as cuda curses goes Pat i thought it was just the body kits, not the wings.

 

theres no curse! i got the cuda 2 and mines been safe. of course, it isnt running yet. lol and i dont think the wings are that diffferent and i thought they were the same. i guess there are small differences in the hatch though

 

If you look at that picture that they post, you can see how much it scoops inside on the front. For the 00-01 there is no scooping. It follows the curve of the top, cause it was made for that year car.

Also, the rear sides of the 97-99 wing will have been extended, along with the whole rear edge, since the back end goes down farther than the 00-01.

Sure, you can get it to work, but you'll have to do alot of fiberglass work. If you try to fix it with bondo, it's going to make your trunk hatch heavy and you risk it breaking. Remember, bondo is for 1/8" thick repairs at most!
