I have for sale a DriveRight CarChip E/X scan tool and data logger. It is approximately 1.5 years old but is in like-new condition and works perfectly. I originally paid $179.00US plus shipping and I am asking $125.00US shipped to anywhere in the continental US or Canada. You can check the Davis Instruments website to see it is still being sold for $179 today.

Includes: CarChip E/X, software CD-ROM, power supply and serial cable (see clickable thumbnail below)

This is a great tool to have for your car, especially for those that do not have a laptop computer allowing use of one of the other similar products on the market. The CarChip unit is plugged into the OBDII connector on the car and left there while you drive. It will record up to 300 hours of data including four user selectable engine parameters (i.e. intake air temperature, coolant temperature, oxygen sensor output voltage, battery voltage, etc.). Store diagnostic trouble codes and clear the check engine light. Downloads all information to your PC for storage and later review using the included serial cable and power supply.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Bump.

Make me an offer if you don't like the price. This is a handy tool for a car guy to have. You can do all kinds of cool things with it. Create a log of intake air temperatures before and after a CAI install. Or if you're building your own custom intake, use it to test air temps with the filter in different locations. The possibilities are endless.

Can you monitor sensors with it and log the data? I'm trying to track down an issue with my RD1 and I think a 02 sensor is bad. I need something I can plug in, log the sensor outputs, and check it out on my PC because I don't have a laptop.

Yes it does log sensor data and allow download onto your PC. Different vehicles ECU's allow reading of different sensors but I know for a fact that the O2 sensor voltages on our cars are read by this because I have done it.

If you have any other questions let me know.

I'll take it.

You in an emergency to sell it or can you wait till the first? It'll be added to the "SITE TOOLS" listing after I use it here so anyone on the site can use it if need be. You said make an offer, so PM me if we can do this and I'll definately take it.
