Looks like all he did was take apart the tailights and coat the black with the fake carbon fiber vinyl. Anybody could do that easily, just gotta buy some carbon fiber vinyl off ebay or somewhere and take apart you tailights. Kinda ricey in my opinion, I would just stick with the black.

But hey I could be wrong, maybe these really are made of carbon fiber. Got any other pictures?

i'd say it looks like fake CF..

 

Those look identical to mine.. except that they are CF, and mine are chrome..

CF ones, are not made as far as I know the company DAI (directautoimport.com) only makes them in the Black and Chrome version.

 

Wait, isn't Grindin the guy that brought the RD1 tails here in the first place?
