^Read the thread, he's not parting out. Several people have already asked, including myself.

 

I did read the thread, every single reply he posted this is what he said and i quote:

"i'd like to still try to sell it as a whole before parting everything out."

And that was in October 07'...........over 6 months ago, thats why I asked

 

Well, I'm sure if he was ready to part it out, he would have said so.

As far as I remember, he tinted the tails using a spray called Nightshades. As for teh headlights, you could always do what I did, which was take the lense off and paint the chrome bezel either a metallic dark gunmetal or a glossy black. It's an easy way to darken teh headlights without actually tinting the lenses.

I seriously looked into it and from what I understand the EPA has to inspect the car and taxes/fees are crazy, even after that it would be a hell of a deal though. I'm just not sure if this would pass EPA testing

 

ok guys, BIG UPDATE

well theres a few things wrong with the car that needs to get fixed before i can even sell it and as much money as i already put into this i don't want to put another penny into it.. the front bumper needs fixing and mounting, and now for some reason i can't get my car into gear, any gear... so without even looking into it, i figure the only way i can make any money back on this is to comepletly part out, so unless someone is willing to take my car for $5000 as is, i'm going to part out everything till theres just a shell.
so there is quite a few parts on this car including the stock ones obviously, i don't have a price in mind for everything so if you are interested in anything please post or pm me a REASONABLE price for the both of us.. if any third party has a suggestion in mind for certain prices to help me out that would be much appreciated...
local sales are preferred cause i don't want to visit the post office a million times by the time its over, i'll wait it out and if no one bites on certain things locally i'll most likely ship.. so look at my mod list on original post and pics and anything you see there is available ..
im going to get it to a shop soon and start ripping everything apart but i'd like to see whos interested in what in the mean time and please bare with me it may take some time for me to get everything off as i don't have much free time on my hands but i'll try and get things organized the best i can. best offer takes it or whoever shows money first.
any questions about the parts please post so everyone can read so i don't have to repeat it. if i missed anything let me know..

Sorry to hear that Vic. I'm sure Kewlkat would still want it for $5k, you should send him a PM before anything.

If not, how's the hood, does it have any scratches/fading/rock chips? Also, I may be interested in those Sparcos, or just the custom brackets for them. What kinda price would you be looking for for them?

i messaged felix but no reply but last i talked to him he said he wants everything fixed before he takes it so i doubt he'll still take it..

liz - i'd like to sell the seats with rails and bracket as one.. the seats have a small tear on the side but has been stitched up and pass side seat in the middle is starting to fade a bit..
the hood is a bit off on the pass side and has a scratched on the driver side other than that the condition is still ok
