oh, and it had an alarm and remote starter but I disconnected it when I swapped it to a manual. It's still in there if you want to wire it back up. Headlight halos have also been disconnected. Probably still work - they were both white and blue (connect either or both)

Carfax shows Mileage Exceed Manual Limit (or something like that). I'm guessing it's because I threw KSpec's BROS Gauges (shows KM per HR as primary and MPH as secondary). I am original owner, bought 9/9/00 and can verify it has 129,960 miles. I purchased it with 13 miles on it, and 5 of those were my test drive.

I hope the sale goes through. I'm very sad that I'm not in a position to be the buyer.

Wish I could afford it. I have a spare tranny (and engine) sitting in my storage unit.

It's my belief the transmission would have needed to be replaced. It's leaking and I can't tell from where. Looking at it this morning, it has to be more than an axle seal leak. The leak started when the hole appeared, so I'm guessing the two are related (can't confirm). The axles needed to be replaced, and the body kit needed some patching and painting. It just wasn't something I wanted to pawn off to another member. I also had concerns that the frame may be slightly twisted... only because there was more fender gap on one side than the other. It's been like that for years, but again, I don't want someone inheriting problems I don't know about.

The guy who bought it will probably replace the tranny and do a half-ass job fixing the minor body blemishes and then sell it to some Mexican car dealer in Knoxville, TN (his words, not mine). If anyone is interested, I can get his e-mail address for you.

Car sold at 7am this morning with $2,000 cash in hand. I'm gonna miss the tib. It's a sad day for me.
