Got the king rear pods, box and packaging intact.
You didn't tell me the left was cracked (almost in half, hanging on by a thread..)
After further inspection it looks like someone already tried taping/refiberglassing from the back.
I'd hope you didn't know about this before you sold it to me?

mad.gif
..I thought it was weird that you didn't have a picture of the actual pods (but you did of the front lip..)
Figured I'd give you the benefit of the doubt.
I could fix it but would rather send it back for a refund. What's the return address?

I have posted a bunch of times that one of those pods had a crack in it bro. Plus I ate 25 bucks for the shipping myself, and asked you ahead of time if you planned to mold them or not. If you're molding them then its completely superficial, so whats the prob? You said you were molding. Also those are probably the only remaining King rears out there. You paid 75 dollars for a rare ass part. Was I supposed to just give them away?
Here's an old post, and I'll dig up more:
http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtop...250&hl=mira
Very clearly shown with a crack a long ass time ago.
EDIT, LOL wtf Pat, you even posted in that thread when it was posted with the crack coming up just a few posts before yours. Dont play dumb.
Here's another post about em, again the crack issue is brought up very clearly, and the same pics are shown:
http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtop...766&hl=mira
Need I go on. I swear kid, I'm tryin here, but you seem to be out to let me and everyone else know I'm trying you trick you or something.

Not trying to get in peoples business, but from a second view point.....
Pat: You will probably want to shape these anyways, so the crack can be filled in when you install them
Blacktibs: Even though these have been posted numerous times, this is simply another for sale thread, so actual pic of the parts should have been up, no matter how redundant. I have to agree with Pat, although, I think he should have asked for actual pics of the parts. Pat did get some really rare parts that he'll have to mend a bit to fix, but they will be awesome and well worth it once installed. Chris, you might have wanted to be a little more upfront, even though you thought that folks new the history of these parts.
Probably good reason that the for-sale amendments were made to keep issues like this from happening.

Tom, I did consider waiting to send payment until seeing actual pictures of the pods (I thought it was weird that was the only item he didn't have pictured..). But wanted to get payment out to him before the end of the day so he could ship them same day.. If I had to wait for pictures I wouldn't have been able to pay until today (assuming he got pictures to me by now..) and I wanted them to arrive at my door before the weekend as I'll be out of town and don't like boxes sitting outside my door while I'm gone.
Chris, I genuinely had no clue they were cracked when purchasing. (show me where it is stated IN THIS THREAD that they are cracked).
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Blacktibs)</div><div class='quotemain'>EDIT, LOL wtf Pat, you even posted in that thread when it was posted with the crack coming up just a few posts before yours. Dont play dumb.</div>
My post in that thread was the following..
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (TibFreak)</div><div class='quotemain'>a shark wing, already painted cobalt blue, Jesus does love me, post some pics of that thing. I don't know about 250 for it though, thats kinda steep, even if it is painted already, but thats just my opinion
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Patreezy)</div><div class='quotemain'>
that's actually a really fair price. So long as shipping stays around <50.</div></div>
How does that in anyway show that I acknowledged the fact that the king rear pods you were selling were cracked, or even remotely show that I was interested in purchasing them..
All I was doing was justifying your asking price helping you complete a sale..
I think this goes to show that the new For Sale rules (although a pain) need to be followed. By everyone.
If you're going to sell King Rear Pods take pictures of THOSE king rear pods, not post a picture of them installed on a car who you don't even know the owner of..
(how is what you're doing in this thread any different than the fvcks you people complain about when you see pictures of your car in eBay for sale listings...)
Moral of the story:
A seller must include an actual picture of the item they are selling. A buyer should not have to research ancient topics almost a year old in order to find the condition of the item.
Maybe when you are an actual vendor you can get away with posting a picture of a sample item and sell duplicates from a warehouse. But for now, you're just a regular member selling extra shit he has in his garage.

Well, to sum up how I feel about the whole thing: Sorry bro.
When I posted this sale up, what I had were pics of the kits installed, that once clicked, took you to FlyRyde.com where all of the other pictures were shown, including the crack, as well as the description that reiterated that these had a crack on one, and needed to be molded. I had it set so anyone could buy em, without needing to ask for my paypal and all that. I've been doing plenty of database work, and at some point the "product" that was loaded into the site for these, was moved or erased. Plus I was asking for 150 shipped at that time.
So yeah long story short, I assumed you knew, and had no intention of tricking you. And I hope for the 100 shipped you paid, the extra 50 can help mold em on that badass new car of yours (whatever color it is now wink1.gif )
EDIT: Luckily I backed up the database after I'd entered these. I had the pic linked up to take you to this page on FlyRyde: http://flyryde.com/Products/Products_Detai...px?PId=72424761
I just added that back to the current database, where it shows the actual pods, with the closest one having a crack in it, and the initial description that says about the crack. If you go back to page 1 of this thread the pic should link you to the site again since I used the same product ID as it was before. I didn't even bother to fix the messed up spelling just now when I reposted it to FlyRyde. Either way, sucks that you didn't realize, and my bad for being an ass and assuming anything.

We're both assholes for assuming something on eachother's parts. You, assuming I knew the part was damaged from having been mentioned in previous topics. Me, for assuming the product was in good condition and decided to trust that instead of ask for pictures.
No hard feelings, and I'm not out to get you..
Now c'mere and give me a hug. (kidding, please don't).
