Its was dyno tuned at world motorsports and dynoed at 349.2 hp and 331 ft/lbs. i ran a 12.9 at maple grove spinning the shit out of street tires. should be an 11 second car. i will get pictures up soon also. reason im thinking about selling it is i would like something awd and that has parts available for it. if this doesnt go through i will probably part it out. let me know if you guys are interested. not sure on a price yet but im sure ive spend almost 20k on this with everyhting thats on it. this is just a feeler but i strongly want a first gen eclipse awd. thanks guys (i will update this thread)

You need to post a price if your gauging interests. Everyone will be interested but it depends what you want to get out of it. Hell im interested..Ill give you 100$. So post a ball park price, this isn't an auctioning thread. Also, if you think your car will run 10's with "little" modification, think again tongue.gif

Yeah, your "LSD" won't hold any more than about 2 more WHP than you are pushing now.

And as for the 12.9, timeslip or BS.

Well I would be willing to say that you shouldn't ask any more than Java was asking for his boosted tib. His has a far better engine management system and has exterior modification on top of the performance. I would venture to say you better ask under 10k if you hope to selling it as a whole. I am not bashing you, just pointing out a few points. Good luck with the sell, but don't expect to recoupe much of the invested money.

You're too generous. I was thinking under $6K. It's only worth a little over KBB Private Party book (which is about $3,500 in excellent condition).

BTW, you're gonna need at least 600whp and slicks to run a 10.9 in a full weight FWD car.

yeah, if you are REALLY going to sell it, id say you MIGHT get 5,500$ MAX for the car. the only way i see you getting more is if you sell it to some fast and furious kid that would pay anything for a turbo import.

car need about 150-200hp more to be a 10 second car..

tims elantra ran an 11.5 and it had 420+whp and slicks.

the twin engine 600whp AWD tiburon ran like a 10.60. it was about the weight of a STOCK tiburon because of the FG hatch, FG hood, and other weight reduction.

for your car to even touch the 10s, you would be looking at a bigger turbo at least, a REAL LSD, a better clutch, and lots of weight reduction.. probably an easy 3k$ more to be a 10.9 second car.

Math??? Try been there, done that. I've been to the track several times in 600whp imports. I've seen gutted under 2,000Lbs. Civics do it with 400whp, but not a streetable car.

My roomamte's 1000HP Camaro runs low 10's at 3,400Lbs., but it's RWD and automatic with a big stall converter.

... and that's AWD. If you put that power through the fronts, you're gonna run abut a 1/2 second slower.

yeah i wish they had the slip for the car to see the 60' (the twin engine)

although, the twin turbo, twin engine tib was on street tires, but even great slicks wouldn't make up for not having AWD on the launch.

and math and 1/4 mile times is all pure 'theory' you can't just do weight x power = 1/4 mile time. lmao.gif lmao.gif
