Pretty sure its the engine. The dealer didnt say there were two. either way the one i need keeps giving me a cel about the TPS which is perfectly fine because the dealer checked it. I would think that would be the engine

 

the engine has about 10-20 harnesses...

your going to have to be more specific..

can you take a pic of it and email it to one of us? Take a camera pic...

Or where is the harness at?

In total.. your car has over a hundred harnesses..

That would be of course a good idea Faith, I am sure many of us could need someting from there once in a while. If everyone keeps in mind that you are doing this in your free weekends, you could advertise like: "Special Faith going to look and pull weekend" so you can gather various requests to make your time more valuable.

That's not too expensive from the dealer, I remember I bought that for my RD1 from stcharlesauto.com and they charged me like $21 shipping included; considering the hassle of locating one, then extracting it (piece of cake) and that you still would have to pay for shipping, it could be easier and faster to get that from the dealer.

 

well i do get discounts at hyundai and napa so i can help with stuff like that also

my wife will be at school so i can pull them at that time

 

Well I talked to my dad and he said that what I need is the harness coming from the fuse box and anything coming off and connecting to the sensors. Its a whole bunch of wires that feed everything. The dealer said that mine had a short somewhere in it and it would be much better to just get a new one than to bother finidng where it is shorting out. Let me know how realistic this is and get me a quote if possible. Thanks

 

don't know if this is still available, but i thought i would try....looking for a center console that goes between the front seats. Preferred rd1, but will definately take one from a rd2 as long as they are the same.

 

WTF is going on with this? faith are you doing it or what?
