i dont give a shit that motoria makes a 3" exhaust, the one in picture is not 3". its the SAME pictures importshark uses for the 2.48" or w/e exhaust on their site. and the 2.48" is OD, not ID i believe. so thats about 2.25" ID.

i wouldn't even trust this seller to even get a motoria exhaust, even though thats what is in the pictures. odds are its a reproduction.

also, back in the day when i ordered the SAME exhaust that is in those pictures from SSA direct, they ended up not having it in stock 'said they had to get it imported' and then left me a negative feedback cuz i wanted my money back.

i also would doubt a company that sells 600$ chinese knockoff FULL turbo kits to their un-suspecting customer would be a very reliable place to do business with. anyone can steal pictures from the internet, reproduce a crappy copy and ship it to a customer.

1. It's NOT about the pictures (thousands of companies use "STOCK" photos for items, if the ony difference is a size, or a mount, they use the same picture for all of them, look at any site online, most of them use one photo for dozens of different applications), it's about the actual item in STOCK.

2. It doesn't matter what you give a shit about, it's not an item for your car, or one that you are buying. No one asked if you cared that they make one, they do, and that's that.

3. Trusting any seller is up to the buyer. That auction name is NOT SSA, but, with how much they change their names on Ebay, it probably is the same folks. They also have many positive reviews with negatives in them, so I wouldnt' trust them with my money, especially if they aren't willing to get some simple pictures with measurements for me.

4. I remember what happened with you and SSA. And Javageek and SSA, and other members and SSA, this is the reason I never bought from them. With the amount of auctions this same place has up, they probably don't have enough stock for all of them if they sold at once.


As far as I can see, this thread was put up as an Ebay Alert, not an exhaust discussion.

Anyone that wants to buy it, risk your money if you want, but chances are you have about a 50/50 chance of getting what's being offered there.

 

Ok i took a gamble and got these.

The piping is 2.5 roughly, i didn't have my calipers so i had to use a yard stick so i don't have inside or outside diameter, i guess it would be outside.

The bends are very smooth and the welds look pretty good, very even pattern around the flanges, The hangers are hollow not solid and I hope to take a pic or 2 to show you. (next Saturday)

The authenticity of the exhaust is still being researched. The muffler has Motoria written on it but it kinda looks like the letters were placed on the exhaust then the muffler was coated. best i can describe it. Im leaning to its a replica because of how the silencer fits. With the silencer bolted in, its defiantly not a tight fit and seems to me that it would rattle around if installed.

Final note, the shipping was very well done, must have used an entire roll of soft plastic roll as the one pipe didn't come in a box was about 5 or 6 inches round wrapped in packing. The muffler came in a big box of peanuts.

To measure diameter, you can always just wrap a piece of string around it, mark the string, then measure the string, divide it by 3.14159 (Pi), and that's the diameter.
