Ebay Alert: Cheap Aem Oiled Air Filters

If you don't mind oiled instead of the new dryflow model (which will run you at least $48 shipped), the ebay store AEM Outlet has 3"x5" filters for $23.27 shipped. This fits most intakes.
Oiled filters don't do as good a job at trapping super-fine dust as dry, but the upside is you can go a lot longer between cleanings, whereas the dry filters get clogged more easily. This one's an obvious choice if you are considering K&N, or even a generic paper filter. I've used an oiled K&N on several cars for years with no problems, although after two years of use on my Tib there was some fine dust inside the intake. Not enough for me to be concerned. I think I'll give this one a try.
