haha, gotcha..
I will be giving the car a very thorough inspection, if there is any odometer fraud suspected I'll be walking away, but do far the vehicle history reports and old lady owner (whether she was a paid actor or not) all check out.. LOL
The way the 2nd eBay auction (he re-listed it) is goig, it'll lke hit 10k.. Ridiculous
The eBay T&C is his problem not mine..

Gosh, If it were only in Texas or somewhere closer to where I live, I'd probly buy it. It seems that no matter where I move, the Tiburons are always in a different location.

Funny how that works, I don't think it's just the tiburons? =P
Took the car for a drive this morning, less than pleased. This car is nowhere near the "perfect" condition it is advertised as. It IS however in a very good condition. It's just been cleaned over with a fine tooth comb to look that way.
Signs of suspect:
Tires on the car were produced in February of 2004.
Brake pads have been changed.
Unlike in the pictures the seller has taken, the odometer digits are slightly offset from each other.
Clutch and Accelerator pedals have signs of excessive wear and tear/rust.
Couple body panels incorrectly installed, after test drive they began to fall off.
Oil/filter looks like it had never been changed.
Coolant leak.
AC doesn't work.
Thermostat needs replaced.
Horrible, HORRIBLE door lock actuator install. Renders door locks completely useless without the key. If you wanted to lock your doors while you are driving you'd need to roll down the windows and use the key to turn the lock, same to unlock from inside..
The Good:
Immaculate interior. VERY good detail job. Had to start pulling up carpet to find any actual dirt!
Radiator looks brand new, I think it might be actually. (this may be a sign of suspect as well)
Too many things went wrong during my walkthrough to pay the $5300 price the seller wanted. Mark is his name, and if you look at his eBay history you'll see he is in the business of selling cars for a profit through his father-in-law's dealership at times as well. I did happen across the previous owner's name, address, and telephone while I was peeking through the car. Tempted to call and ask them a few questions.
Not really interested in the car anymore. I'm sure some chump will buy for $6k finding out it's only worth <$4k. I offered the seller to replace the thermostat and sell for $3, but any more than that and it's not worth it to me. I need explanations on why the tires, brake pads, and possibly a radiator were replaced on a car with under 10,000 mies on it?? I ended up leaving without handing over any $$. I may or may not have stolen the four door handle grommets during my test drive..

It was already up to $3000 with four and a half days to go, same idiots bidding on it as last time, I'm sure it would have ended at or near the $6000 mark. Seller needs to get it out of his head that this is not a $10,000 car as he refers to it as..
