Ok Im going to be turboing my car in the next couple weeks, but really only plan to use low boost. I figure ~5 psi (from a small t3) at first, then maybe bump it up to 7 later. I dont want to push any more than that cuz I think it might be risking too much...

Now if I had a decomp. plate, what would that do for me? I know I could up the boost, but without any other upgrades is it basically going to amount to the same thing or would I be able to safely get more hp with it? Thanks

There is no such thing as safely get more HP.

You need to get a reliable Tuner/mechanic to look after the fuel/ignition and correct psi boost for your engine.

Before I turbocharged my car, I had the whole engine checked and cleaned.
To just check the condition of car.
