I see, good idea for the hood! The major problems with mine were after about 4 months my clear coat started bubbling and the fiber started fading very badly!
If the hood is like mine was (which I was told that mine was used to make the mold as well :roll
the edges are very rough cut... its WAY to thin. The underside looks like it was just throw together!
Hey Ammoman, was your hook to long in the front? The screws they sent me were WAY to long as well...

Hobgoblin: When did you give up your hood for a mold? I dropped mine off to the moron that Bradley hired in March of 2002. I got pics a little while later when the vents were molded on. Just curious if they used your hood after mine, and if the hood I have now was from your mold instead of mine. As far as bubbling, mine had minor bubbling in it when I installed it, but the CF hasn't faded. The hook is a little too long, which is why removing the tension spring helped, allowing the hook to sit a tad lower. The screws I got were a good length, but were narrower than the stock mounts.

just wondering if the pliers are still available (saw OdessitPashka's post) and how yah use em, I'm only familiar with the disks. whats the difference with the pliers?? just more accuracy?
