What size are the pistons? 82mm, 82.5mm or 83mm? At that price I'm guessing they're off the shelf pistons from Wiseco, so either 82.5mm or 83mm am I right?

Might be interested in the pistons and rods depending on your anwser. I call dibs for the moment.

The grey coating on the skirts comes on every set of wiseco's I have ever seen for our cars, it is to reduce friction against the cylinder bores.

Ceramic coating for heat would mean the top of the piston was coated with likely a white ceramic material that would help keep the combustion chamber hotter and result in a more efficient and power productive burn. That shyt is expensive and works well, but has not been applied to your set of pistons.

Just want to make sure the potential buyer is appropriately informed that you did not pay extra for this coating, it comes with the pistons which go for only $20 more shipped from wiseco than you are asking. The rods are only $10-15 more shipped from the factory.

You might want to lower your prices on this stuff if you want to sell it. Granted it is all brand new but good luck selling it for new prices.

Sent you a pm yesterday.

And yes we know, the coating does come on all Wiseco pistons for our Beta engines to reduce friction. After about 15 000km it's all gone baby! But it's still beater than nothing at all. wink1.gif
