Well, I'm kinda looking into it...always wanted to do a beta2 high comp build. The short block could potentially save some time and resources. I'm only a couple hours north. Been working toward a turbo build, but this could be fun too. Just need to figure some things out on my end.



Any issues with engine, bearings or rings?

 

It is fun, I'm not sure how much power difference it gives you but in my accent it blew the tires through 2nd gear on a mic key Thompson 225 tire. Engine ran fine I just got a built motor for boost.
