Any interest here on a stock rebuilt motor? Ive got my motor from my RD2 that Im not going to be using for anything. I need to get a new head gasket on it but was considering just giving it a full rebuild. Would consist of:
bore cylinders if necessary
New rings
All new bearings
new head gasket
timing belt kit
block and head would be fully cleaned
whatever else is needed

Head would also include 1.8 cam installed. Just want to see if theres any interest around. I can also do any performance building as well as needed. I am in the process of putting paperwork through to get into my own shop and have a few things I am looking to get available to us. Built short blocks and long blocks is one of the things I am looking into as they are not available right now. Turbo kits in the future if we dont have other options. Pretty much anything. But for now I have this spare motor here that I dont really need. Let me know

Im not sure on price. It would depend really how much went into the new parts and if someone wanted anything extra. Im going to put together some prices tomorrow and call around. Should be able to become a distributor for some companies in the near future.

If you can do a "built cilinderhead" that'd be great i think. A full P&P job on the head together with cam regrinds?

Could easily do that. I should actually be getting all my resale licenses and LLC papers very soon and will look into it for sure.

I have a few questions
How many miles, is the cylinder block level, did the blown head gasket warp the engine?

No. Nothing else was hurt. It has 40k on it. More looking into if theres a need for this type of thing. This is what Ill be doing when I get my shop in the next year.

Built engines
turbo kits (already did quite a few with tuning locally)
transmissions

pretty much anything with fabricating custom parts and performance related.
