All current FS threads will be grandfathered in. The staff reserves the right to enforce the new rules as such on grandfathered sales if the situation warrants.

1. Pictures are now required for anything over 175 shipped. The picture must also include your user name and date you took the picture or a copy of the day's newspaper. Any picture found to be edited to meet these requirements will in PERM BAN from classifieds and subject to possible removal from RDT.

2. DIBS
most users use the 'dibs' system. All new topics titles must have in quotes 'Dibs' or 'NO dibs' clearly stating what type of sale. Dibs are good for 48 hours, if no reply over the weekend, that's fine, as long as there is one on Monday. If you are running a dibs sale format and sell something behind someone's back under 24 hours cause you couldn't wait for that timeframe to end up, you will be banned from sales for a week. 2nd offense = 6 months . 3rd offense = banned from sales forever with each one of these offenses deemed a warning.

3. Monitoring for sales threads

If a thread goes dead with people asking questions everyday and the seller never responding, closed.
People need to care about what they are selling and be a good seller. all sellers have 72 hours to repond to requests and questions. If you have a FS thread going and need to step away for a few days please post that in the sale thread as well as the date you are going to be back. the 3 day clock starts the day you state is your return date.

Any threads with wording such as "I don't have time to check the forums so email me instead" Will be CLOSED and warning given. Post the thread, pay attention to it, you can turn on REPLY notification if you want to be contacted. This can be done under the options menu on the first post of a topic.

I would also like to add something based on a few sales Ive seen here in the past. If someone is selling off their last parts and leaving the Hyundai scene be careful with buying from them.

What i would suggest (and this kind of applies to all sales) is for sure use Paypal only. Also, if you dont have a product or shipping confirmation within a couple weeks, file a paypal claim so you have a good chance at getting your money back. Would be a good idea to use a credit card also so if Paypal cant retrieve your money you can do a charge-back.
