Alpine Amp, Sony XA-300 (UPDATE: Lowered prices)
LOL, I don't know ANYTHING about this stuff. I know the basics of wiring, and I did some reading the Internet to figure things out like how to run the ground, how far away from the power it should be, etc.......
Anyways, this is strictly a subwoofer amp. It puts out a mono signal (single channel) to the sub.
Mono, if I recall right, mixes the singal in to a single channel. Stereo mixes it in to two or more channels thus giving you a spatial sound, and the ability to hear things from the left, right or in between.
Mono amps are best for subs because they are able to handle a lower impedance which = more power.
You'll only want this amp if you're going to power a subwoofer with it. Like I said before, it powers a 10" nicely. It's not gonna shake your wife's titties from a block away, but if you're going for moderate, clean bass you won't find a better amp for a better price than this one.
