i have every stock part imaginable, ill get everything else a little later today because i cant think of half the stuff on the car. Its was dyno tuned at world motorsports and dynoed at 349.2 hp and 331 ft/lbs on 23PSI with a shitty tune (i recently got it tuned amazingly and it spins 4th gear). i ran a 12.9 at maple grove spinning the shit out of street tires at 116mph. should be an 11 second car. i will get pictures up soon also. im second owner, only 11000 miles on the rebuilt motor. reason im thinking about selling it is i recently purchased a 1g dsm. if this doesnt go through i will probably part it out. let me know if you guys are interested.

I personally think you're a little over-ambitious for $8,000, but good luck. I will leave this open for 24-hours - if pictures aren't posted by then, this thread will be closed.

Might be a good time to glance at our For Sale thread rules. You don't have many posts, so people may be aprehensive about buying from you. Proof of product is important. Put a sign in the pics to ensure the date/owner of the vehicle, so people can see the car's current condition.

How many miles are on the chassis?

With no cat or muffler, I'm assuming this car will not pass visual, sniff, or OBD-II inspection if local laws require.

better luck selling it local, theres no way in hell you will get even 5500$ on these forums for the car.

i'd go straight to parting it out if i were you.

also without a ton of high quality pics, dyno sheets, etc. the chances of anyone biting for anything are slim to none.

socks, your entitled to keep your opinions about these forums to yourself, the door has been open for quite some time for your attitude.

Your entire first sentence was unwarranted. you could have simply stated that you though his opening asking price was high.

Nice motor build up good equipment minus a few parts but i agree with majik and SOCKS. Being an 11 year old car stock paint with mainly everything in the motor and nothing done body wise or interior wise you will not get the price you are asking. Good luck with your sale maybe try ebay to get the price you are asking... I would part the car out and make your money back that way.

ok, no more complaining about the price. if that is what he wants, so be it. no one complained when Java wanted 8k for his car and we know a shit ton about it.

if you don't like the price, don't respond...simple as that.

i've talked to Zkend about this car many times. the main reason we never saw wolf around here much was because of the shitty attitudes around here.

With a car like this, ask yourself how much you would get if you parted everything out? It should be a bit more than what you are asking for it alltogether. The convienence being you get the cash in one lump sum and don't have to do any dirty work.

That and you keep a good lookin tiburon together and on the streets! wink1.gif

I'm not interested in purchasing (have too many Hyundai's already) but a word of advice, try a little harder before you decide to part out. Some of it will go really quick but to make your $8k figure it individual parts you'll probably need to sell just about EVERYTHING and right now's not the best time to do so.

Hell I've had a rare catback exhaust for sale on these forums that 50 or so people have looked at for months but no one has bought, and the buyer that probably is going to is getting it for almost HALF what I paid.. Ugh

G'luck with the sale! smile.gif
Detailed pictures, specs on the turbo and current dyno would help your cause though! I find it frustrating (and misleading) when a seller sells a car advertising what it "Used" to do..

Lee - I don't think people were being negative or complaining about the price. We were being realistic and helpful, letting him know it might be hard to sell on here. I really do hope he can get a good amount of money for it - it's a powerful motor.

We aren't saying it isn't WORTH $8,000, but it might be easier to sell locally for a higher price. I would take it to the track with a For Sale sign, and try to get interest from people who are looking for a powerful turbo setup.
