It's been some time since I've been on here, much longer since I've asked any questions or made a post, but...

The time has come for me to part ways with my daily driver Tib. In before pics (coming soon, the storms 'round these parts killed internet till Sept. 12th; posting from work currently)

It has some body damage, but all of it is just slightly mashed skin, no frame damage. It's got 104,017 miles on it. CEL is on, due to the bad exhaust manifold gasket. Recently replaced the downpipe. Windshield seal is coming out. Needs 100k tune-up. Stock everything, cloth seats, A/T, manual side view mirrors, no cruise, steel wheels, black exterior.

I had some aspirations for this one as a project car, but my parking lot proved to be a dangerous place to park. (source of all body damage) I picked up an 03 GK 5speed in the meantime, really just biding my time till these new RWD coupes come out.

Anyway, I'd love to part it out, but don't have the garage space or equipment to do that. I'd like to be able to drive it over to anyone in the Chicagoland area (currently in NW Indiana), but I'm a car salesman *gasp* and I have close to no off time in which to do so. $750 OBO, PM me but it may take me a few days to respond. I'd much rather give this thing to the community than to the jerkoffs in my service department.

how is the automatic doing on this car? hard shifts? any problems? woudl you drive it, lets say, 500 miles and feel like it would be ok?

Soonest I can get those pics up is the 12th of Sept. The auto is shifting relatively fine, a little slip between 2nd-2rd. I've heard some reports of hard downshifts in them, but so far (4 years of ownership) I haven't had any problems with that. If I were to drive it 500 miles, I'd get an alignment. The wheel centers at about 5-7 degrees right. Highways speeds induce some wobble above 60mph.

yeah, i really wanted it to be a project car for me, but alas, time and money weren't available. pending your approval of the pics, it's yours.
