hey wass up peepz, I was just checking ebay and thought I should post this for any of you bold enough to attempt a 6 speed tranny for a beta motor, that would be soooo bad@ss!!

6sp was never offered for the GK on the 4 cyl. engine. only on the 2.7 l delta.

 

Yeah, you can even tell from the pics that the position of the starter is all wrong

as tony is not the sharpest tool in the shed, by FAR i might add, he did state if anyone wanted to ATTEMPT to swap it. it could be done.. would be a PITA, and not close to worth it.

i duno why everyone gets a hardon for a 6 speed over a 5 speed anyway..

 

It's like the 6th sense. You either have it or ya don't..

On a side note. Somebody (MadJohn?) mentioned the 90's Mitsubishi FTO 6-speed manual trans might be less work for you to ATTEMPT to install. But more work to obtain.
(FYI, FTO's were right hand drive)

 

^^^ on a note to that. i started looking into finding a six speed FTO trans and every importer i talked to said they didnt come in a six speed only 5 speeds. shrug.gif
