Ran into this at Autozone Today and decided to try it out, after doing some research over the past 2 days.
Mobil 1 filters were rated as the best I could find, but generally less recommended than the Purolators (I think that's the brand) because of the price. Well, I figured I'd try the fully synthetic oil too.
Here's the deal.
$25.99
5 Quarts of Fully Synthetic Mobil 1 oil. Individual quarts, not the gallon bottle plus a quart.
Normally $6.59 each plus tax.
1 Mobil 1 oil filter. Normally $10.99 each.
It's a total of $17.95 off of the normal price. Figured I'd share it since some of you want to try out fully synthetic oil too and a quality filter.
Good through the end of the month.
BTW, our part #'s.
Bosch ($5.99) - 3312
Mobil 1 ($10.99) - M1-104 (Larger capacity than the Bosch BTW)

Nope, just says Hyundai Kia Genuine Parts. It even has the crooked H stamped inside the filter. Being the first time I looked at one up close those things are top quality. They are about 5 or 6 a piece I think. I bought a case a while back

Thought you guys and girls might want to read this. This is where I got a lot of my research from. Not a bad site.

Absolutely not.
The Wix filters I saw Redz talking about in the shoutbox are very good. We use those at the shop. We actually use Napa filters but they are the Wix.
The OEM Hyundai oil filters are equally as top quality as the Wix. They are a very good looking filter.
Fram sucks. They used to be good but are not anymore. If you cut open filters you will see what makes them good. Frams are made with paper on the inside, almost any other is metal.

bought 6 quarts of mobil 1 5w30 EXTENDED PERFORMANCE and a mobil 1 EP filter for 31$ with tax.. the mobil 1 EP is good for 15,000 miles, so thats about a years worth of driving for me on one oil change and only 31$.. pretty sweet deal if you ask me.
