Daniel,

would you mind if we could trade out airram for airram? I have a polished beta1 and would love to have the jethot coated one, it will match my color choices in my engine bay better than polished. if not, no biggie i will just get mine coated but thought for you it might be easier to sell two polished versions than what you have right now. it is just as clean as yours are, ive never mounted on a car yet as I dont have a BBTB right now.

The coating isn't cheap and it add value to the one manifold. I don't think it would be a smart move to trade even up for a standard one.

Your intake plus $100.00 would be fair.

no thank you

you are already selling it for 50 bucks more than what you paid REDZ for the airram. adding more money to something that you did not do personally is not what i call a good deal. good luck in selling it.

URSONVS, A real Jet-Hot coating would be cheaper than that. I think I paid $150 for my turbo manifold and downpipe to be coated. As far as I recall Red Z wasn't too happy with the coating he got from the local guy.

Daniel, if it adds so much "value" why are they both priced the same?

Urson, we also get a discount through Jethot by sending it in. My turbo Manifold was only 100 bucks I think with shipping and all.

you can also do a really nice DIY coating. i sandblasted my turbo manifold, put on a couple coats of VHT fireproof ceramic paint, and baked it.. held up GREAT, and it still holding up to my knowledge.. heres a pic. cost me 8$ in paint and about 4 hours from blasting, to paint, to baking and cooling. still looked like it does in the pic 8 months later.

guys...

I appreciate you letting me know about the discounts about jet coating and whatnot. I know jetcoat is a good thing but it wasnt the main reason i wanted to trade. call me rice, i care less, i just thought that Daniel might want to switch out airrams since i think it would be easier to sell a shiny one that a dull one, nothing more, nothing less. I have a powdercoat guy that is 15 miles from me and does stuff so cheap and so good I will probably get it done by him.

Java, i agree with your post on why they are both the same but why would he want me to pay 100 more for what I have right now, especially when he didnt pay for it to be done.

I dont want to roast DP anymore about this deal. Ive done a deal with him before that i thought went well all except for the amount of time involved which i will keep to myself. just figured a "prior buyer" might get a chance to swap like items back and forth in order to get these sold faster for him is all.

Okay guys this is getting ridiculous, let the guy sell them for what ever he wants. If he wants 2 mil for one let him be. I'm closing this topic. Daniel, start new FS topic and unless your going to reply with something regarding the purchase of one of his manifolds, DO NOT POST or you'll get warned.
