Hello,
I am going to have my haltech up and running in about a month (hopefully) so I took out the 1.8 ECU and put my stock 2.0 back in.
So this sale is for a 1.8L ECU that has the rev-limiter raised to 7800 rpm. NO FUEL OR IGNITION TIMING MODIFICATIONS FROM THE STOCK CURVES.
WARNING: You cannot use an SAFC II to adjust fuel with this ECU, and the OBD II port will not link up with a scanner.
I took this out because when I installed my new wideband sensor I found out I was running 15:1 at WOT; however, I have a ton of NA mods that cause my engine to flow much more air than stock, and this is for a 1.8L not a 2.0 like the engine I have. Once I got above the stock redline though I was reading about 14:1 (still too lean for my liking, but had no problems over the course of about 6000 miles).
So if someone has a 1.8 with mild mods this should probably be fine and keep an afr of about 13:1.
You could use this and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to get your afr mixture richer though.
Price is $100 shipped anywhere in the US. I paid $120 including shipping to get it flashed and add in the cost of the ECU and you have a good deal on a rare part here.

I've got a 2.0L 2003 Elantra GT Hatchback, 5spd......would this ECU be of any use to me? I am currently running my stock 2.0L ECU and will be adding a unichip for N/A fuel tuning and advanced timing soon. My power mods include an Ark N2 Catback Exhaust, Fidanza Flywheel, OEM "Heavy Duty" clutch kit, ChromeIntakes SRI+K&N Filter, and soon to have Key headers.
Question, does this ECU also get rid of the govenor?

Umm, I don't think I ever went over 130 with this ecu, got to about 125 for sure on multiple occasions.
With the stock 2.0 I have gotten to 140 so it must not have a governor.
I do not recommend going that fast on public roads!!! That was done on a local airstrip during a top speed test event.
You could easily crash and kill yourself and many innocent drivers, OBEY THE SPEED LIMIT!
And just an fyi, I would rev-out to 7600 on occasion with no valve float on stock springs with SR 268 cams. Don't know how, maybe because I have low miles.
