Alright, this is just a feeler because this car needs some work done. I want to move on to an MR2. The car 42,xxx miles on it, 5 spd., it had a salvage title because the left side was messed up on something. I have reciepts for 2 new wheels, tires, front left fender, pads, rear lateral arm, crossmember, had some frame work done, some panel work (enough to keep the rust out). I do not have the money to finish this as I'm going to start at UTI in about 2 months. Will trade for N/A MR2, 2G DSM (AWD only), or numerous other vehicles. SPECIAL INTEREST IN THE FORD CONTOUR SVT. Price I'm asking? $5,700. I'm still losing about $1k on this, but I'm also in need of money for school, so I don't want to downgrade too much. I'd like to keep this car, but I can't get it looking how it should with the money I've got, so I'd like to see it with a better owner.

If that's how the car looks currently I don't think you're gonna get $5700..

With a salvage title and messed up bodywork ure not going to get 5700. Maybe if it was all fixed and all you could get $5000 because of the title

It has a rebuilt title now. I've been driving it for about 2 months. According to KBB, for a private party, I can get at least $5k for it now. It's getting harder and harder to find RD's with low miles. Even the bodywork can be done for less than $2500. Which would put it in great condition, worth abit over $8k.

haha... sorry dude. even though tibs are somewhat in the market now... there is absolutely no way you are gonna get that much outta that car. You are almost better off parting it out... you will get more money than you could selling it whole

I'll go no less than $4k. Too much invested, too little knowledge to part it out, too little time.
