It's time for my baby to go. I'm upgrading to an 05 Mazda rx-8. The dealership will only offer me 500$ as a trade in value, and for that price, I'd rather part it out to you guys. So let the story begin.

What I have is a 1998 Hyundai Tiburon SE for sale/parts. I bought it nov. 04 with 128 xxxkm, it now has 292 xxx km, and is slowly dieing. It is black, manual transmission, and as I stated, is an SE.

I'll start with the bad.

Hood (rusty, paint is chipped, its just in bad shape)
sunroof (brackets are broke so it closes to the front, but doesn't close down to seal, no rain gets in tho)
rear wiper motor is blown
drivers side strut (feels ok in summer, but freezes in winter)

other than that, its normal wear and tear for a 11 year old car with almost 300k on it. Would make an excellent winter beater, or cheap point A to point B car.

exhaust from header to tail pipe (all installed in april of 08, 2.25 inch piping, high flow cat, fart can exhaust) 400$

I can't think of anything else off the top of my head. I'll try and get some pics up today. I won't be picking up my rx8 for probly 2-3 weeks, so nothing will be sold til then. So as of right now, this is strictly a feeler thread. If it seems no one is interested in enough parts to make it worth my while, or the entire car, I will simply trade it in, minus the after market parts.

header is an OBX off of ebay, it was installed in april of 08, and will come with the flex pipe. I can try and get pics of it up tomorrow, today was crappy weather.

 

o i almost forgt one or two O2 bungs?

 

Off the top of my head I don't remember. I remembering having to extend the wires on one of the o2 sensors, but that has something to do with the cat doesn't it? I honestly don't remember, it's just the plain obx header off ebay. Are you interested in the exhaust as well? I'd love to sell it as a unit. I can easily meet you at the border if you would like. If not, it's no big deal.

 

if tib 500 falls through on the headers i'll pick them up, pending pics.
