Hello guys,

This sunday I'm about to race a lot of cars and all of them are turbo except honda del sol 1.6 vti. So I really need some help what to strip from the car? The back seats, spear tire... what else?

My car is 2.0 with CAI, Custum exhaust, 1.8 cam, P&P IM, TB coolent bypass, clutch slave cylinder mod and running on goodyear eagle f1.

I'm open for advices smile.gif

That's hardcore stripping smile.gif I'll think about it , but I don't think these parts weight enough and I have to drive with headlights to this track so must keep'em.

Thanx anyway wink1.gif

any weight you can remove from the back is a good idea. also, go on 1/4 tank of gas, fuel weighs a lot! lighter wheels if you have them, and check your tire pressure

Yeah I absolutely agree about the fuel, but unfortunately no lighter wheels mad.gif

What do u think is the best pressure for the tyres...2.2bar?!? 1bar is 14.5psi

I've found that on good street tires anywhere from 18 psi - 22psi is a good setting, so 1.5bars or so. Just run a few passes changing the pressure each time to find your sweet spot. Launch at 2000-3000 and shift fast!

Was that an Altima that some magazine stripped? They took out the interior spare tire, all the usual suspects, then ended up with no finders, hood, roof etc. basically just enough unit body to hold the suspension and drivetrain together. 14 second car with stock drivetrain.

I think 1.5 bar is too low ! Today I'll check very good everything that can be stripped.

New ideas ? smile.gif
