Default Traction Control on or off when autocrossing

When autocross in a Genesis, is it better to leave the T/C on or off?

I would leave it off, but there's nothing wrong with giving it a try with it on. It sort of depends on your driving style, but a great driver will get more out of the car with it off for sure.

Traction Control on will cause the car to cut power if the tires start to slip. Not exactly something you want to happen during an auto-x.

Well, traction control is for people who don't know how to drive a car at its limits right? Maybe if you are sliding all over the course, TC would be a benefit. It could even be a training tool, if you pay attention to when it starts cutting in, and take that as a clue you are on the edge of traction. Learn to work with the traction you have.

Then learn to work the car when you lose traction.
