Well right when I got back to Texas I took the Tib to the track. I ran a 10 flat on an 1/8 mile track don't remember my speed. Which gets to my question, do ya'll feel this is good time?I didn't shift til red line (I know thats not good). Which brings me to my next question, at what rpms should I be shifting at. Although on a lighter note I killed the probe GT I ran which was almost a full second behind me. And I just relised I put this in the wrong forum

For a Tib with no major modifications, you probably want to take first and second to about redline to take advantage of the shorter gearing. What I do, and have very good results with, is:

Shift out of 1st = 6300 RPM
Shift out of 2nd = 6200 RPM
Shift out of 3Rd = 6000RPM

What was your 60' time, you can tell a great deal about your run from that alone.

He gave you his 1/8 of a mile probably because that's how big the track is...

with your mods you should be in 9s. I ran 9.77 with I/H/E, you have more mods, so you should do better than that smile.gif

What was your 60' and trap speed?

Wichita falls, lets see maybe in Ennis Texas Motorspeedway? I went to the one in Sevenpoints. Don't remember my trap speed or 60 and I didn't get a slip. This was just a 1/8 mile track ina small ass town.
