Last night I was driving home from a friends house and this stupid RX-8 owner wouldnt get off my ass. Constantly tailgating me, flashing his lights, and just being a total dick on the road. It was a one lane road, so I was gonna pull over just so he could pass.



Came up to a light and the road split to 2 lanes. He came over to my left, staring at me, revving his engine, and just looking like a tool. His car was riced out with stickers, big obnoxious wing, and that gay ass chrome trim people put around their doors. So he sat there revving, and as soon as the light went green, I took off. Dumbass was trying really hard to pass me, but just couldnt do it. I was ahead by a good 3-4 car lengths. Keep in mind my Genesis is far from stock. Full exhaust, deleted cat, intake, and PA tune.



I dont know if the 2.0 members can hang with RX-8's but I know for a fact they cant versus 3.8's.

 

My bone stock 2.0T with a slipping clutch can take my buddy's RX-8 with a reflash and full bolt-ons...they're hella slow cars (or I'm just a better driver)

 

Yup, REALLY slow cars. almost 15 sec in the quarter mile.

RX-8's are just some of the ugliest cars I have ever seen. No matter what they do to make them look or go quicker, there's nothing they can do about driving a really ugly machine.

 

They eat oil like you wouldnt believe and they are horrible on gas. So while you're still out driving, they'll be hitting up gas stations filling up and topping off.



The ONLY good thing about them imo is how good they handle on the track.

 

The wife's Tiburon can even take a stock RX-8. They are not fast.
