STOCK 2001 Tibby goes to track..
Well guys.. I went to the track AGAIN.. I had some CRAP, and I had some fairly decent times for stock (I think)
This was the best run I had..
RT: .502?!
60': 2.375
330: 6.907
1/8: 10.605
MPH: 66.62
1000: 13.781
1/4: 16.463
MPH: 84.00
I also ran a 16.575@84..
I STILL cannot get out of the hole correctly.. I dropped my pressure to 22 PSI, and I STILL had some wheel hop.. When I ran my 16.4, I was at 30 PSI.. I was racing a RSX when I ran that, I got beat time wise, but I won the race to the line.. he had a 1.012 RT.. Damn Ricer. IT wasn't too much to be scared of, though.. he only ran 16.1... I kicked THE HELL out os a Celica GT.. SHE ran 18.1, and there was NEVER a doubt about it.. Anyone care to pick me apart? wink.gif Any hints ipskickintheasses? Thanks guys..
Late..

To be honest, your RT's and 60' times are better than mine. However...at 3500 ft I managed a 15.3 (thanks mr turbo!) at 96.something MPH
Wheel hop is a fact of life with a tibby unless you do some suspension tweaking.
All in all, I would say you did fairly well. Up at Pamdale (3500 feet, most of the tibbies with CAI's were happy to pull a 16.7)
I can't remember what Techcontib pulled vs Yamaneko's supercharged Elantra...but I know he beat it down at sea level at carlsbad.
TechconTib...have the time slips still? What'd you run with just the MHP CAI?

I ran a 15.3 uhm i mean a 16.3 lol. thats with the mhp and 2 1/4 exhaust piping.
1st race me and Yamaneko.
left lane me right lane Yam
1.031 r/t .694
2.??? 60ft 2.???
6.9or8 330f/t 7.1??
10.469 1/8 e/t 10.853
67.48 1/8 mph 66.95
16.357 1/4 e/t 16.703

I had same problems I need some springs and good tires. Not to mention this was the very first time going down the strip, I need more practice.
